Draft. This text describes how we intend to handle data and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have it checked before the site goes live.
Magellan Studios p.s.a. (spółka w organizacji), based in Warsaw, Poland, builds and publishes the applications listed on this site. Where this policy says “we”, it means that company, which is the controller of any personal data described here. Our registration is being finalised; the registry details will be published here once it completes.
If you write to us through the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you send. If you sign on to the ship's log, we store the email address you give us and nothing else.
We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
Each application carries its own privacy details on its App Store listing, which is the authoritative description for that app. As a rule, data an app needs to work stays on your device unless the app clearly offers a synchronising or account feature.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except where a service provider processes it on our behalf.
This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. It uses your browser's local storage for two functional purposes: remembering the choice you make in the storage notice, and holding any image you drop into the page while previewing it. Both stay on your device and are never sent to us.
If we add analytics later, it will load only after you allow it in that notice. Choosing “essential only” keeps it switched off. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the notice back.
| Name | Purpose | Kept |
|---|---|---|
| magellan.consent | Remembers your answer to the storage notice | Until cleared |
| image-slot entries | Holds images you drop into the page, on your device only | Until cleared |
We rely on your consent for the mailing list, on our legitimate interest in answering correspondence for the contact form, and on the performance of a contract where an app account is involved.
Correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful to the conversation and then deleted. Mailing-list addresses are kept until you unsubscribe, which every letter allows in one click.
Under the GDPR you may ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to our processing of it, withdraw consent you have given, or ask us to transfer it elsewhere. Write to us through the contact page and we will answer within one month.
If you believe we have handled your data wrongly you may complain to the Polish supervisory authority: Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw. We do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area, and we make no decisions about you by automated means.
When this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will also be mentioned in the ship's log.
